Why Us?
- Wigginton Tennis Club provides 4 all-weather floodlit courts in a thriving socially inclusive environment at the heart of the local Wigginton & Haxby Community.
- The Club is a ‘not for profit’ LTA affiliated organisation that is run wholly by volunteers for the benefit of its membership.
- Its primary objective is to encourage the enjoyment and growth of local tennis across a broad spectrum of ages and abilities in order to promote the benefits of sport as both physical exercise and mental health wellbeing. Ultimately the Committee’s goal is to provide an enduring legacy for future generations of local young tennis players.
- Under the watchful eyes of coaches Ben Walker and Rob Hodge our popular ‘Hotshots’ and ‘YDTN’ coaching programmes focus on junior player development and the participation of young people with disabilities. In 2021 the Club was awarded ‘Yorkshire Disability Tennis Club of the Year’. Our thanks go to our supporters for our ability to deliver free sessions for Disability Tennis and Menfulness.
- Looking to the future the Club is seeking sponsors to enable us to train through our own home grown LTA level 1 & 2 qualified youth coaches to encourage & promote the next generation of young tennis coaching talent. If successful this young person initiative may even be extended to include the future training & development of LTA accredited line judges and umpires.

All packages will display the sponsor’s digital logo on the club’s website and will link to the sponsor’s own site.
Cost of banners or printing are included in the package price, just the artwork scaled to size in PDF form would need to be provided. Banners will be displayed from March to October inclusive as this is the club’s busiest time and there is increased risk of damage over the winter months. The club will be responsible for the upkeep of the banners should they get damaged.
